Ms. Li-Chuan Chen

Moderator's Biography

Ms. Chen Li-Juan is the Former Director of Procurement Center of the Changhua Christian Healthcare System and currently a lecturer at the National Open University Taichung Learning Guidance Center. After engaging in the clinical nursing work for ten years, she changed careers to the relevant department of hospital materials procurement in 2003. Former Director Chen dedicates to hospital materials procurement and management system, including digitalization of the procurement and supply chain management, e-commerce supply chain management in exception handling, medical materials operation system, etc. The team leading by Former Director Chen was awarded SNQ National Quality Mark in 2016 with intelligent automatic warehousing and logistics systems. Former Director Chen participated in various academic and research activities, such as sharing the experience on medical materials logistic seminars and publishing papers, carrying out Unique Device Identification (UDI) system, and being a collaborative teacher to facilitate industry-university cooperation. Former Director Chen strives to improve the quality and safety of the healthcare supply chain.
