Moderator's Biography

Dr. Hsu is the Chief Information Officer of Changhua Christian Healthcare System. Dr. Hsu joined Changhua Christian Hospital in 1994 when it was still a regional hospital. Today, Changhua Christian Hospital has grown into a healthcare group consists of a medical center, a children's hospital, and six branch hospitals.

Before joining Changhua Christian Hospital, Dr. Hsu had participated in projects at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) of Taiwan, transferring various communication technologies to private business enterprises. Then he worked at Leo Systems Inc., where he was involved in projects such as planning fault-tolerant information systems for Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Taiwan Futures Exchange. Before that, he was a software engineer at CPU Technology Inc., California, United States, dedicated to developing IC design simulation software.

Dr. Hsu is also actively lecturing at various Universities in Taiwan. In addition, Dr. Hsu is a committee member of the public engineering committee of the Executive Yuan of the Taiwan government and a board member of the Taiwan Electronic Health Association. He received Taiwan Outstanding ICT Elite Award in 2015.
