Abstract
Providing
safe, high quality patient care has been a focus of healthcare executive, and
the influencing factors mainly include healthcare environment, medical
supplies and equipment, medical personnel, etc. Modern supply chains are no
longer simply linear chains that become complex and inter-connected
distribution systems. The upstream and downstream in supply chain have strong relationship,
from the raw materials, manufacturing process, origin, transportation, storage
and even the final medical application, there are many different types of risks
in the process, including dirty production lines, counterfeiting problem, the conditions
of storage or transportation does not meet the requirements, products in poor
quality and quantity shortages, therefore, reducing those risks with technology
is the key issue of the supply chain. In this session, we will discuss how to do
the production tracking, shipment monitoring, real time product verification, storage
controlling, defective product report, and reverse logistics to maintain the
quality of medical supplies and drug by using technology. Hope to ensure the collaborative
relationships between suppliers and contractors and improve patient safety at
all levels.
